January is not really the most packed with yearly festivals, fairs and the like regarding ‘things to do in Budapest‘, Hungary. May is already high season regarding the cultural richness of events in Budapest, Hungary. While April focused much on the Easter festivities,  family gatherings, May is a return to the public celebrations.
